We proudly deliver all orders ourselves. This ensures that your flowers and hampers arrive in perfect condition.

Where/when do you deliver?

Monday to Friday – at times we can deliver on a Saturday (please enquire directly).

Same day delivery to: Pahiatua, Woodville, and Eketahuna (plus close surrounds).

*For non-perishable items, such as candles, we can deliver nationwide (please call the studio).
*Be sure to choose the correct shipping method at checkout to avoid any issues with your order.

 

When do I need to order by?

If you order before 1pm, we can achieve same-day delivery to surrounding towns. If you order after 1pm, your order will be dispatched the following day.

For Pahiatua-central, you have until 2pm to order same-day delivery.

If you need flowers urgently, get in touch, we will always try to help if we can.

 

What if no one is home?

We will leave the flowers in the safest spot visible at the time. If you’re planning to surprise someone with flowers, then please note that Thicket does not take responsibility for undiscovered flowers. If you are worried about flowers not being found, it would pay to contact the recipient directly.

 

Can I request specific flowers?

You can make a note when checking out if there is a specific flower or colour you would like included. If we have it in our studio, we will be sure to include it. We work with the seasons, however, so it is not always possible.

 

Can I add a message?

Absolutely! Just pop something short and sweet into the notes area when checking out and we will write it on one of our little cards. Our cards are 8x5cm so please keep messages brief.

 

I can’t reach you by phone. Why is that?

If you can’t reach us by phone, it is because we’re busy with our hands in the studio or we’re up a ladder somewhere! Send Sarah a quick email and we will be sure to get back to you promptly.

 

Are you able to refund for a workshop I am no longer able to attend?

Due to the planning and ordering that happens prior to a workshop, we are unable to offer refunds or credits if you can’t make it. Your booking is transferrable, if you know someone who can take your place. We may be able to swap you into a later workshop if availability and planning allows for it – please contact us to discuss.  

 

Care for your flowers by:

Bouquet care

  • Remove wrapping

  • Snip 1cm off bottom of stems (snipping at an angle)

  • Place into a clean vase of water

  • Keep out of sun and away from heat

  • Change the water every other day

  • Remove more delicate blooms as they begin to fade

Vase centrepiece care

  • Remove wrapping

  • Top up the vase with water as they can lose water in transit

  • Keep out of sun and away from heat

  • Keep topping the water up daily

  • Remove more delicate blooms as they begin to fade
